At the behest of my friends, I’ve decided to release the first chapter of CAGED for others to view on my blog (for free!) so that they can get a feel for the tone, writing, story, etc.
My dilemma about doing this is as such: it’s three pages.  How much can you learn about ANY book in three pages?  Not much, usually. My ultimate solution? Release the first chapter and part of a later chapter a week or so after.  One will open the door to the story, the other will illustrate what you’ll find once you enter.
Hopefully my plan will succeed…
So I’m off today to mail in all my copyright paperwork. Â Once that’s received, my butt is legally covered and I can officially release the prologue to CAGED.
