Unborn 1 - UnbornUnborn #1

Publisher  47North (Amazon Publishing)

Born into mystery. Shackled to darkness…

Khara has spent centuries discovering everything about the Underworld―except her place in it. But when she’s ripped from her home, solving the riddle of her origins becomes more important than ever. With evil stalking her through the dark alleys of Detroit, she finds salvation from an unlikely source: a group of immortal warriors sworn to protect the city. Khara needs their help to unravel the tangled secrets of who and what she is—secrets many seem willing to kill for. But time is running out, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer necessity binds her to an arrogant fallen angel.

Can their shaky alliance withstand that which threatens her, or will her soul fall victim to the unholy forces that hunt her―those that seek the Unborn?

From the author of the bestselling Caged series comes a pulse-pounding new romantic urban fantasy series.

  1. Hi just read unborn books 1 & 2 and they’re great! When is book 3 coming out and what’s it going to be called?

  2. Can someone explain the term/word ITAL that used in the Unborn book? I don’t know if it’s a typo or if I missed the understanding of it.

      1. “That’s a ITAL move for sure and would require a lot of motivation. Besides, who would use pg 169

“That’s a ITAL statement there, Casey,” Oz drawled from his perch on the stairs where he sat. I had nearly failed to notice he was there. “You’re. Pg 194

I have the ebook from Kindle

  3. Hello amber
I was just wondering if and of the caged series has been released and also the unborn series has that started yet!!!!

I’m love ruby, Sean and cooper, lol it seems as tho they have become part of my life 🙂

  4. I just pre ordered Unborn!! Set to be sent to my tablet August 26! It is going to be a long spring and summer. 😦
    Can’t wait! 😀

  5. Just finished Fractured….and it was amazing! I almost couldn’t function a work due to me trying to sneak in chapters at every free moment I could get. I laughed, I cried, and I prayed a Sean or Cooper lookalike would walk into my job and make all my dreams come true. Forever happy that I ran across this series on Amazon. I will be obsessively preordering your next book.

  6. Amber! Your a genius! I just finished Fractured and **sigh** it was terrific. Now, will the Unborn series run parallel to the Caged Series? Is it to be read while reading Caged, or would it be best to read it after Caged is finished? I want to get the most out of your books, so that means reading them in the order you say! Thanks!

    1. they will run parallel, but I have to write it so that if a reader comes across Unborn first, they will still be able to follow it. There is overlap between the series, but nothing that’s SO specific that they become dependent on one another. So you could really read them concurrently or separately, whichever you prefer. For me, I’d read them at the same time, but I like that diversity. Some may not.
      Glad you loved FRACTURED!

  7. So, is Unborn referring to a character that has yet to come into their own or a child that someone is going to have?

  8. Even if I didn’t already know I love your writing, I would buy this book just from reading that snippet. I am so excited to delve into the world of the PC. The fact that there will be more yummy men like Sean in it……just a big added bonus!

  9. I have thoroughly enjoyed your stories. Someone new is always popping up charactor wise, and they have well thought out personalities. Thanks for giving me a great read!

    1. *sighs* I wish I could tell you. I’m playing around with dates, but I know it won’t be until 2013. I’m hoping to have it out early that year. I’ll be keeping people posted on hard release dates via fb, twitter and this blog, so if you’d like to stay informed, feel free to follow any of those 🙂

  10. Love this series, read the first three books over the weekend, couldn’t put it down, bring on Scarred!
